Are Starseed Bakery's gluten free cookies made with a special flour blend?
Yes. We source our gluten flours very carefully. Each recipe is made with a unique, customized blend of grains so each cookie tastes fully flavored just like traditional cookies. Each recipe is carefully crafted with our proprietary blends of gluten free flours to ensure that our cookies have the perfect texture and taste without any gluten, dairy, soy or GMO’s.
What makes your gluten free cookies different from regular ones?
Our gluten free cookies are made in our Certified Gluten Free facility with high-quality gluten free grains and a blend of non gmo and organic ingredients. We use organic eggs and organic sweeteners, as well as organic applesauce for our vegan cookie options. We also use high quality oils such as pure olive oil and organic coconut oil.
Do your gluten free cookies contain any common allergens?
While all of our cookies are completely free of gluten, dairy, and soy, we do use almonds in a few of our cookie recipes. Any products with almond flour or almonds are clearly labeled. We do offer a variety of cookies that are vegan (egg free and honey free) as well as Sugar Free Cookie options. Any cookies that have chocolate chips are made with allergen-free chocolate chips.
Can I bake Starseed Bakery's gluten free cookies at home?
Unfortunately, we don’t sell gluten free cookie dough for home baking, but if you're interested in making gluten free cookies at home, we recommend using a high-quality gluten free flour blend. When preparing the gluten free cookie dough, be sure to space the dough balls on a baking sheet with adequate space for spreading and even baking. You can also use baking soda to create a lighter texture and granulated sugar for sweetness.
